Archibus data is quickly becoming a key component of reporting for ESG, (Environmental, Social and Governance), Health and Safety, and Sustainability. Customers’ requirements range from internal management of KPIs to full Investor-ready analyses.
As a result, Archibus Hosting Services has introduced two new products to assist Partners and Clients manage integration of their Archibus solutions with Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
These products allow provide both real time and batch integration to allow users to harness the power of Archibus data within their wider reporting requirements. Whilst Archibus has a powerful and comprehensive reporting and metrics capability, Clients also use tools such as Tableau, Power BI and Qlik. Some of these tools are embedded in other platforms such as Salesforce and as such are made available to increasing numbers of users.
Archibus Data
Archibus is renowned for its breath of features and functions and remains the leader in its class. However, it’s easy to overlook one of its key strengths, the database that underpins the suite of software applications. Archibus provides a core of background data across property and facilities management. In addition, this data is validated and enhanced through the everyday tasks performed in the software.
There are two product options for BI integration:
by using Direct Access to the Database
This option will grant secure access to the Archibus’ Project database. Partners and Clients can then configure the BI solution to access and query data through the connection provided.
Security is our priority. Accordingly, this option includes a Point-to-Point VPN. The connection will be managed and executed through a VPN Tunnel.
Or:
by delivery on a FTPS repository
This option provides an automated system that deploys a full back up of the current Archibus project data to a secure folder location. This can be delivered on a variety of frequencies including the standard daily routine.
In addition, we will seek written permission from the client to mobilize either of these options. For reasons of security, and under our ISO 27001 procedure, we need specific consent for the accessing and transferring of client data.
