Bruce Platform AI was introduced to the world via our webinar in September this year. This is a significant milestone for our company and for our industry.
We believe that AI will be a game-changer in our industry. There has been a lot of heat, but not too much light generated regarding this. So, we decided that the best way to launch this was to cover a variety of practical use cases and demonstrate a real product.
Our objective is to provide a sustainable Artificial Intelligence platform that produces trustworthy results, is highly secure, and is scalable to the enterprise. We believe that what we have demonstrated already really illustrates this, but the launch was just the beginning. So, here is a summary of what we launched, and what we are looking to address by adding AI to our Bruce Platform.
What is BRUCE Platfrom AI?
Bruce Platform AI is the output of two development projects launched earlier in 2025. The first was designed to enable users and stakeholders to interact with IWMS and CAFM using natural language through AI. This removes a layer of complexity for any kind of request whether for maintenance, bookings, moves or finance. Also, it makes like so much easier for the user, increasing adoption and interaction.
In our webinar we demonstrated three common scenarios in operational arena. These involved different roles, provided asset identification, task creation and work routing, and removal of duplication of effort. Here is a snippet of the live demonstration.
The second project focussed on the enablement of Natural Language and AI to get data, in the form of reports and graphical dashboards including KPIs. The AI can perform queries across multiple data sets in CAFM, IWMS and ERP. This enhances decision making and speeds up the process without the need to use complex or additional proprietary tools.
In our webinar we demonstrated the data analysis and the creation of a complex report on the fly. Here is a live example:
Feedback and Next Steps
The feedback that we have received has been more than encouraging. Clients and Partners can see immediately how this would impact the value of existing CAFM and IWMS implementations. They also told us that the introduction of AI like this will speed up implementation and user onboarding for new implementations. We are working already to take these ideas forward with our partners.
We will be covering many more use cases in the short and medium term and we welcome any ideas from implementers or users. You can contact us here.
In conclusion we believe strongly that AI will change our industry for the better. We see already that AI will enhance traditional CAFM tasks from Space Optimization, Requests, bookings etc. This will provide an easy to use tool for users to communicate with their service providers. This will only increase the interactions between stakeholders and FMers. The bigger the audience, the wider the scope and the greater the amount of validated data produced.
Whilst these things are important, it is the value of the data that will bring the sea change in decision making. This will give managers the ability to get insights in real time, to enhance decision making. In addition, we believe that this will impact compliance and governance, asset optimization and environmental programs.
